The data need to be entered and saved in the right format; therefore a CSV template is provided
for download which helps you to enter your data in the correct format. Click CSV import/export,
and then click Download CSV template.
Note: CSV import requires a comma-separated CSV file. Check the regional settings of your system
for the decimal separator. Please insert samples names in column Sample and reaction mix names
in column Reagents without using special characters. If there is a pre-defined reaction mix in the
plate experiment, please make sure to use the identical the reaction mix name in the CSV file.
The CSV file import has two options:
The Overwrite existing data option can be used to overwrite the existing plate layout with the

plate layout stated in the CSV file.
The Create Reaction Mixes, Samples, if not defined in the Plate option needs to be selected, if

not existing samples and reaction mixes should be created automatically due to CSV import.
This option needs to be chosen if the CSV file includes reaction mix and sample names that
have not been pre-defined in the plate experiment.
Both the options Overwrite existing data and Create Reaction Mixes, Samples, if not defined

in the Plate, can be selected in the same time.
Example case 1: No reaction mix and samples were defined in plate experiment. Select Create
Reaction Mixes, Samples, if not defined in the Plate option for CSV Import. Make sure that sample(s)
and reaction mix(s) are defined in CSV file. After import, the reaction mix and samples will be
created and the Plate layout will be filled according to the CSV file. A reaction mix with default
target name and default channel will be defined and the following warning message will appear.
This warning message can be ignored.
Please click on section Reaction mixes, select reaction mix, and define the correct target name(s)
and channel(s) after import of CSV file.
