Example case 2: The Plate definition in the Suite includes a reaction mix and some samples or controls;
also, the Plate layout is partly defined. Existing parts shall not be overwritten. By using the CSV import
function, residual empty wells should be filled with the same reaction mix and additional sample(s)
that have not been created in section Samples & controls. For this CSV file, make sure that the
positions of pre-defined wells are empty and only the residual wells are defined that should be
filled. Select Create Reaction Mixes, Samples, if not defined in the Plate option for CSV Import. After
import, additional samples will be created and the Plate layout of empty wells only will be filled
according to the CSV file. Pre-defined filled wells will not be overwritten.
Example case 3: The plate layout is already defined in Suite and should be overwritten with new
reaction mix and sample(s) that have not been created in sections Reaction mix and Samples &
controls. Choose both options, Overwrite existing data, and Create Reaction Mixes, Samples, if not
defined in the Plate for CSV import. The Plate layout will be overwritten according to the CSV file.
Reaction mix and samples stated in CSV file will be created. The created reaction mix has a default
target name and default channel. Please click on section Reaction mixes, select reaction mix, and
define the correct target name(s) and channel(s) after import of CSV file.
