5.11.2 Checking Windrower Startup

CAUTION
Check to be sure all bystanders have cleared the area.
1. Start the engine. For instructions, refer to
NOTE:
The brakes should engage and the machine should not move after engine start-up.
2. Ensure the steering wheel is centered. Move ground
speed lever (GSL) (A) straight out of N-DETENT
(neither forward nor reverse). The machine should
not move.
3. Check that the steering wheel is free to move.
IMPORTANT:
If the machine does not function as described, the
system requires adjustment. Refer to the windrower
technical manual.

5.11.3 Checking Engine Speed

1. Move throttle to idle position.
2. Check engine speed on cab display module (CDM) (A)
and compare to value in table below.
3. Move throttle to maximum rpm position.
4. Check engine speed on CDM (A) and compare to value
in table below.
