3300 ICP Technician's Handbook – Release 3.2

Use IMAT

The IMAT software is used to program hardware and call
characteristics for the NSUs that run PRI or R2 protocols. IMAT is
also used to install software upgrades.
Maintenance activities include access to the following R2
maintenance information:
A list of all software files and versions on the 3300 R2 NSU
Log messages which contain a history of activities and the
status of faults
R2 database.
Use IMAT to backup the database from the 3300 R2 NSU, or to
upgrade the R2 software on the 3300 R2 NSU. For more
information, refer to the IMAT online Help.
To log on to an IMAT computer:
1. Launch IMAT from the desktop. IMAT may display a user-name
configuration error message. Ignore this message, and press
OK.
2. From the File menu, select Connect to Remote Site.
To exit the IMAT application:
1. Save any open databases.
2. On the File menu, click Exit.
