The engine overheats.
Possible cause
The front of the radiator is plugged
with dust and dirt.
The coolant level is too low.
The engine pressure cap is not closed
completely.
The fan belt is loose.
The coolant is contaminated.
Engine oil pressure does not build up.
Possible cause
Insufficient quantity of engine oil.
Engine oil viscosity is not adequate.
Fuel consumption is excessive.
Possible cause
There is a fuel leak.
The air cleaner is clogged.
Tire pressure is too low.
The clutch disc is worn.
Engine oil consumption is excessive.
Possible cause
The wrong oil is being used.
There is too much oil.
There is an oil leak.
Engine oil replacement intervals are
too long.
The oil filter is clogged.
Remedy
Clean the radiator with a soft brush.
Add coolant.
Fit the cap firmly.
Have the vehicle inspected by your
nearest authorized MITSUBISHI
FUSO distributor or dealer.
Flush the cooling system and replace
the coolant.
Remedy
Add engine oil.
Replace the engine oil with one of a
proper viscosity.
Remedy
Check the fuel system and retighten
connections as necessary.
Clean or replace the air cleaner ele-
ment.
Adjust to the adequate inflation pres-
sure.
Have the vehicle inspected by your
nearest authorized MITSUBISHI
FUSO distributor or dealer.
Remedy
Replace the engine oil with a proper
one.
Adjust the quantity to the proper level.
Check the oil circuit and retighten
connections as necessary.
Change the engine oil at prescribed
intervals.
Replace the filter element.
