Steering wheel free play
Lightly turn the steering wheel both when
the engine is turned off and when it is idling
and check that the free play of the steering
wheel conforms to the following specifica-
tions.

Try moving steering wheel up and down
and also right and left to check for exces-
sive looseness.

Horn operation
Press the horn button to check that the
horn is working properly.

Windshield wiper and washer operation

direction and the wipers for normal action.
