Band selector button
The radio can receive broadcasts at frequencies
within four frequency bands: two AM bands
(AM1, AM2) and two FM bands (FM1, FM2).
The selected band is indicated in the display.
Every time the band selector button is pressed
for a period shorter than two seconds, the
reception mode changes from AM to FM, and
vice versa.
If the button is pressed for a period shorter than
two seconds while the radio is receiving a
broadcast and the display is showing the time,
the indication changes from the time to the fre-
quency. If the button is then not pressed for
approximately five seconds, the indication
changes back to the time.
When this button is pressed for two or more sec-
onds, the clock is readied for time setting.
