data, image information, a gray scale bar, a depth scale with focal zone markers, and a TGC
curve.
Available screen formats are:
Single
Dual
Quad
Screen reference: 1
The gray scale wedge represents all gray levels in the US image from bright to dark. The
displayed pattern corresponds to the selected gray map in the 2D Sub Menu.
Screen reference: 2
The depth scale marker allows to determine the depth of the echoes or objects displayed in
the ultrasound image on sent or printed images.
Three depth scale markers are available:
Large marker: represents 5cm in depth
Medium marker: represents 1cm in depth
Small marker: represents 5mm in depth
Screen reference: 3
A triangular marker next to the depth scale marks the middle of a focal zone of the ultrasound
probe. The
Foc. Zones control adjusts the number of focal zones. The Foc. Pos. control
positions the focal zone markers along the depth scale. The markers only represent the B-
image focal zone(s). The number of focal zones and number of focal depth positions is
dependent on the ultrasound probe.
