The following maintenance schedule is suggested for probes and biopsy equipment to ensure
proper operation and safety.
Action Daily
Inspect the Probes
Clean the Probes
Disinfect
endocavity probes
Disinfect all other
probe types
Probes can be used in clinical environment.
Ensure that the probe face temperature does not exceed the normal operation temperature
range.
Probes must be operated, stored, or transported within the parameters outlined below.
