3.5 The monitor

Switches the system on and off. Located at the left part of the user interface.
Opens the Measurement and Calculations menu.
At the first push an arrow shaped cursor appears for menu and images
operations. At the second push the Indicator menu is opened.
Exits a mode.
Programmable key
Freezes the images.
Increases or decreases the amount of echo information displayed, resulting
in an brighter or darker image.
Pressing Gain button returns you to 2D mode.
Allows you to modify the Zoom ROI and choose a Zoom mode (Pan Zoom
vs. HD Zoom).
Depth controls the distance over which the B-Mode images anatomy. To
visualize deeper structures, increase the depth. If there is a large part of the
display which is unused at the bottm, decrease the depth.
