Sign in to the User Web Page

You use the base station web page as a user to view system status and to perform limited configuration tasks.
Note
Contact your service provider to determine if you connect to the base station with HTTP or HTTPS. This
procedure assumes you use HTTP.
The web page signs you out after five minutes of inactivity.
Before you begin
You need the MAC of the base station.
The base station needs to be connected to the network and the green LED lit.
Procedure
Step 1
Find the IP address of the base station with

In a browser, enter the address of the base station.
Format:
http://<address>/main.html
where:
• address is the IPv4 address of the base station.
Example
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/main.html where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IPv4 address.
Step 3
Sign in to the base station as the user.

Automatic Configuration

Your system may be set up so that when you plug the base station into the LAN, it automatically looks for a
server to get its configuration. The configuration server sends configuration information to set up the base
station and the handsets. The handset information includes phone numbers, but doesn't map the phone numbers
to a particular handset.
Note
If you automatically get the configuration file from Customer Device Activation (CDA), you can only set the
profile rule (
). CDA was previously known as Enablement Data Orchestration System (EDOS).
