LCD Display Frame Replacement Procedure

8-2-8-1 Tools
Use the appropriate Phillips and flat screw drivers, as indicated in the bottom assembly replacement
procedures.
8-2-8-2 Time Required
10 minutes
8-2-8-3 Preparations
Shut down the Vivid i n/ Vivid q N ultrasound unit, as described in - System Setup.
8-2-8-4 LCD Display Frame Removal Procedure
1) With the LCD Display in the open (upright) position, use a flat screwdriver to remove the screw cap
from each of the four screws that fasten the LCD display frame in position, as shown in
below.

2) Loosen and remove the four screws
3) With the LCD Display in the fully open position, carefully release the LCD display frame from the
