S ew th e z ip p er tap e o n th e seam
F itting the edge of the z ipper presser f oot along the edge of the z ipper teeth,
sew the z ipper tape on the seam allowance. At the slider part of the z ipper, stop
the machine at 5 cm (2 inches) b ef ore the slider. Move the slider to the f ar side
of the presser f oot and sew the z ipper until its top end is reached.

* Baste the z ipper tape with the f ab ric with hand b asting stitches. Move the
slider to the top of the z ipper. Put the f ab ric over the z ipper and perf orm
b asting.

S ew rev erse stitch es an d sew
Af ter sewing reverse stitches, set the lef t hand side of the z ipper presser f oot
to the z ipper teeth. Sew until 5 cm (2 inches) of the z ipper end. Undo the
b asting stitches and move the slider to the f ar end of the presser f oot.
Then sew the rest of the way .

a 5 cm del final de la cremallera. Deshaga el hil
