Straight stitch: Needle and b ob b in threads interlace with each other at
the middle of the f ab ric thick ness. (
Z igz ag stitch: Needle thread is pulled a little b it to the wrong side
of the f ab ric.
If the machine is set to " 4" , it is suitab le f or most f ab rics. However,
adj ustment may b e necessary according to f ab rics and sewing
applications.
If the tension is not correctly set, it will cause imb alanced stitch
f ormation, puck ering, and/or thread b reak age.
