Intended Use

These operating instructions
apply to gas-ring vacuum pumps/compressors
of the G-BH7 series, models 2BH72, 2BH73,
2BH74, 2BH75 and 2BH76,
contains instructions concerning transport and
handling, installation, commissioning,
operation, shut-down, storage, servicing and
disposal of the G-BH7,
must be completely read and understood by
all operating and servicing personnel before
beginning to work with or on the G-BH7,
must be strictly observed,
must be available at the site of operation of
the G-BH7.
About the operating and servicing personnel of
the G-BH7
These persons must be trained and
authorized for the work to be carried out.
Work on electrical installations may be carried
out by trained and authorized electricians
only.
The G-BH7s
are pump-motor units for generating vacuum
or gauge pressure;
are used to extract, pump and compress
the following gases:
Air,
–
Non-flammable, non-aggressive, non-toxic
–
and non-explosive gases or gas-air
mixtures.
For differing gases/gas-air mixtures,
–
inquire with the Service Department.
are equipped with one of the following kind of
drive motors:
3-phase AC drive motor with a standard or
–
explosion-protected design
Single-phase AC drive motor
–
These operating instructions apply only to
pump-motor units with a standard design.
