Errored Second (ES) is a second with one or more error events OR one or more
Out Of Frame events OR one or more Controlled Slips
Bursty Errored Second (BES) is a second with more than one, but less than 320
error events
Severely Errored Second (SES) is a second with 320 or more error events OR
one or more Out Of Frame events
Severely Errored Frame Second is a second that contains four consecutive
errored framing patterns.
Loss of Frame Count is a count of seconds in which a valid framing pattern could
not be obtained.
Controlled Slip Second
Unavailable Second is a second in which the T1 was not available for use (due to
outage, alarms, etc.).
Line Code Violation indicates a mismatch in line coding (AMI or B8ZS)
somewhere in the network and is determined by receiving an invalid line
violation (bipolar violation).
Path Code Violation is a received error in the frame synchronization bit (for SF
framing) or a CRC error (ESF framing).
Line Errored Second is a second in which an error was received on the T1.
