service slot slot-number
undo service slot

Views
VT interface view
Default command level
network-admin
Parameters
slot slot-number: Specifies a card by its slot number.
Usage guidelines
If you do not specify a card to forward the traffic of VA interfaces on a VT interface, the system
automatically chooses the MPU to forward the traffic. Therefore, to reduce the load on the MPU, H3C
recommends that you use this command to specify cards to forward traffic of VA interfaces.
If the specified card is removed, the traffic cannot be forwarded even if a VA interface is up. When the
card is installed, traffic forwarding resumes on the card.
Examples
# Specify the card in slot 2 to forward traffic of the VA interfaces on interface Virtual-Template 10.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface virtual-template 10
[Sysname-Virtual-Template10] service slot 2
