Parameters
times: Specifies the number of INFORMATION message retransmission attempts, in the range of 1 to
255.
Usage guidelines
Use this command only on a BRI that runs the NI protocol.
A BRI that runs the NI protocol can initiate a call only after SPID negotiation or initialization. The timer
TSPID is started after the device initiates a SPID negotiation or initialization request by sending an
INFORMATION message. If the device does not receive any response on the expiration of TSPID, it will
retransmit the INFORMATION message. Use this command to modify the number of INFORMATION
message retransmission attempts.
You cannot execute this command during the SPID negotiation on a BRI.

# Set the number of INFORMATION message retransmission attempts to 5 on BRI 2/0.

Use isdn spid service to configure the service types supported in SPID negotiation on a BRI that runs the
NI protocol.
Use undo isdn spid service to configure any service type that the device supports.

isdn spid service [ audio | data | speech ]
undo isdn spid service

The SPID must simultaneously support speech and data services.

You can select one or none of the three types of services. If you select none, all the services are supported.
