Enabling diagnostic and monitoring (DM) on a 3G modem allows third-party debugging tools to
diagnose and monitor the 3G modem through cellular interface debugging output.

mode cdma

Use mode cdma to specify the network service to which a 3G modem connects on the CDMA network.
Syntax
mode cdma { 1xrtt-only | evdo-only | hybrid }

Parameters
1xrtt-only: Connects to only the 1xRTT network.
evdo-only: Connects to only the EV-DO network.
hybrid: Connects to a hybrid of the 1xRTT network and the EV-DO network.
Usage guidelines
1xRTT refers to CDMA2000 1X network, which is the 3G CDMA2000 core technology. It provides only
voice service and medium- and low data transfer services.
