Use link-protocol ppp to enable PPP encapsulation on an interface.

Default
PPP encapsulation is enabled on all interfaces except Ethernet and VLAN interfaces.

ppp authentication-mode

Use undo ppp authentication-mode to disable PPP authentication.

ppp authentication-mode { chap | pap } * [ [ call-in ] domain isp-name ]
undo ppp authentication-mode
Default
PPP authentication is disabled.
