If you are using an inline adapter training cable connected to a handheld device, it is likely you will have to
readjust the gain.
9. Once the wireless listening system settings have been adjusted to maximum volume without distortion, use the
volume control on the headphones, powered speaker, or the Plus and Minus buttons to lower the device's volume.

Sony Wireless Listening Systems (UTX-B2 and URX-P2)

The wireless listening system allows trainers, administrators, or other operators to remotely listen to the
conversation between an operator and a Talkman wearable computer or handheld device.
The wireless listening system consists of a transmitting radio and a receiving radio which communicate with
each other over a particular radio channel. This system can be used to monitor several operators by setting each
transmitting radio to a different channel and then changing the channel on the receiving radio to that of the
transmitter you wish to monitor.
Important: Ensure that you do the following before using the listening system:
Set the transmitter's Line/Mic switch to Line
Plug the monitoring headphones into the Monitor port on the receiver
Turn down the headset's volume before putting it on

Setting up the Receiving Radio

Note: The receiver is labeled UHF Synthesized Diversity Tuner.
1. Insert batteries into the receiver.
2. Turn on the receiver.
3. Press and hold the Set button until the display flashes.
4. Press the Set button repeatedly to scroll through the settings. Stop when you reach Scan.
5. Press the + button to scan for a clear channel.
The channel bank will be displayed.
