It is even possible to signal an actuator (electric strike) closing when an
electric current is applied. In doing so, use is made of the fact that the relay
in the controller features both an NC and an NO contact. The positive
terminal on the power supply for the electric strike is connected to the
common contact; the positive terminal for the actuator is connected to the
NC contact. The signalling positive terminal is connected to the NO contact.
