8.15.1 Initial programming via TCP/IP

11. Select the input status which SmartSurveil should identify as "locked".

ð SmartSurveil is configured to monitor the SREL3 ADV system.
SmartSurveil can only identify a door as locked if it has been previously
identified as closed.
These settings apply to all SREL3 ADV systems in the linked LSM data-
base.
You will find details on SmartSurveil in the SmartSurveil manual.
In some use cases, the controller needs to be installed first and then
programme the address (pre-installed reader). It may no longer be possible
to reach the controller with a USB cable after installation. Whatever
happens, an IP address assigned to the controller and known to LSM
requires initial programming via TCP/IP.
This problem can be avoided if the controller is first programmed via a USB
cable separately from other components. During programming, a valid IP
address is issued and saved to the controller. The controller is then reset
but the IP address is retained.
Carry out initial programming as described in Configuration [} 19].
In this case, external components do not need to be connected.
