6. System Configuration
The pulseEKKO system allows the user to customize GPR data collection parameters. This is
done in the System Configuration menu.
From the main screen, press System Configuration to enter the menu shown in Figure 6-1.

The user can save up to nine different configurations and give each a unique name. The name
of the current configuration is shown at the top of the screen, and all parameters associated with
this configuration are shown below.
To rename a configuration, navigate to the system configuration text box at the top of the screen
with the directional-pad and press the Rename button on the bottom, or touch the blue button
with the pencil icon
beside the configuration name at the top. Use the pop-up keyboard to
edit the name and then press OK to accept.
To create a new configuration, press the New/Copy button. The user has the option to create a
new configuration with default settings associated with a chosen frequency, or copy the current
settings and use that as a starting point.
To select between existing configurations, press the + and – buttons under the name of the
current configuration on the menu at the bottom of the screen.
To reset to the default settings for the chosen frequency, press the Reset to Defaults button
The screen is divided into two sections: on the left are the technical parameters related to the
collection of GPR data; on the right are the setup parameters related to the physical survey.
