Viscosity
Viscosity is selected in accordance with the diagram.
Temperatures refer to constant ambient temperatures.
1) When driving in severe conditions or frequently
driving in very hilly road conditions, SAE 80W-140,
SAE 85W-140 or SAE 140 are recommended
2) SAE 90 may not be used in rear axle RAN281
Service interval
The service category of the rear axle is dependant on
where the vehicle was manufactured. In some markets
there can be vehicles with rear axles belonging to
different service categories, and in these cases special
care must be taken when planning the first oil change.
