Driving program
Economy
When the engine is started, the economy program is
always selected (shown as an E on the display). The
economy program gives priority to fuel economy and
is primarily used when driving under normal
conditions.
Performance
The power program is engaged/disengaged using the
E/P button (see illustration). The performance program
gives priority to driveability and is used when driving
in hilly terrain and off-road.
Brakes
A special braking program can be engaged using the
auxiliary brake lever. See the section on auxiliary
brakes.

Starting in too high a gear wears
the clutch and can increase the
risk for clutch breakdown.
