The system occasionally requires automatic
calibration. This may be when the truck is started for
the first time or after a workshop visit. When
calibration is required, it starts automatically as soon
as the speed is sufficient and the road markings are
legible, independant of if the system is active or
inactive. Calibration takes about 20 minutes, but the
system is functional after 5-7 minutes.

Lane Change Support

Lane Change Support is an information system that, in
certain circumstances, helps to make the driver aware
of vehicles that are travelling in the same direction as
the truck on the passenger side (in the blind spot).
The main purpose of the system is when driving on
multi-lane roads, where the system can minimise the
risk of accidents when changing lanes.
Warning!
The system is a supplement to a
safe driving style and the use of
rear-view mirrors. It cannot
replace the driver's awareness and
responsibility. The responsibility
for changing lanes in a safe
manner always lies on the driver.
