Disc wheels: Only primer and
original finishing paint is allowed
on the wheel mating surfaces,
both on the outside and the
inside. There is a risk of the
wheel nuts coming loose if the
paint layer is too thick.
Spoke wheels: The sloping top of
the spokes must be completely
free from paint, etc.
