Replacing filter
Change oil immediately after carrying out repairs.

Clean round the cap and the dipstick before the
cap is removed

Press down and unscrew the locking device for
the filter

Lift up the old filter and keep one finger under
the filter's centre hole, so that impurities from
inside the filter do not enter the oil reservoir

Transfer the locking device to the new filter and
insert it into the oil reservoir

Check that the filter is positioned correctly and is
locked in place securely

Check the oil level and top up with oil to the
MAX marking

Fit the cover

Clean around the cap and dipstick

Unplug the connector on the electrical cable to
the dipstick. Check the oil level. With the engine
stationary, the level should be on the MAX
marking on the dipstick

Top up with oil as necessary
