To change the name of your circuit program, proceed in the same way.

ou can change the name of the circuit program in programming mode only. If you have
saved a password-protected circuit program, you can change the name of the circuit program
only after you have entered the correct password (refer to Section Password for circuit
program protection (Page 70) ). ou can read the name in both programming mode and
parameter assignment mode.

Password for circuit program protection

ou can protect a circuit program from unauthorized access by assigning it a password.
ou can assign, change, or deactivate a program password from a Base Module,
or a Text Display.
Note
There is only one circuit program protection password that you can assign for IDEC
SmartRelay.
Assigning a program password from Base Module
A password can have a maximum length of 10 characters, and consists only of uppercase
letters. On Base Module, you can assign, edit or deactivate the password only in the
programming mode.
To enter a password, follow these steps in the programming menu:
