Web server

IDEC SmartRelay has a built-in Web server which enables you to operate the Base Module or
the Text Display from a traditional PC or a mobile device.
In this approach, you can access the Base Module or the Text Display using a connected
device (conventional PC, tablet or smart phone with Web browsing capabilities) through its IP
address.
The Web server allows you to use the mouse pointer or the touch screen, depending on the
device you are using, to perform fast and easy operations on the virtualized Base Module and
Text Display.
IDEC SmartRelay also provides access security control over the Web server. For more
information, see section Network access security (Page 273).
