Chapter 2 Cisco IOS Commands for the Catalyst 4500 Series Switches
hw-module module stop
The hw-module module stop command is enabled only on the uplink modules of the WS-C4500X-32.
Note
To shut down a module and make it safe for removal, enter the hw-module module stop command:
