TimeProvider 5000 CLI Command Set
alias
This command is used to assign an alias for a CLI command (or any character
string). The alias can then be used as a convenient substitution for the CLI
command to which it has been assigned.
The alias command can also be used to display all defined aliases and the
commands to which they have been assigned.
Command Syntax:
To assign an alias name to a command (or any portion of a command):
alias <user-defined-alias> "<character-string>"
To display all defined aliases and the commands to which they have been
assigned:
alias
Example 1:
To set the alias "abc" for the command
must be contained within double quote marks ("")
tp5000> alias abc "show ip status ioc"
Example 1a:
To use the alias "abc" to execute the command
tp5000> abc
