2. Connect the air dryer to the DRY AIR bulkhead.
3. Connect the pump vacuum port (inlet) to the EXHAUST bulkhead
(figure 2-4).

4. Connect the pump exhaust to a suitable vent or charcoal scrubber.
Equipment Damage DO NOT connect the pump exhaust port to the
EXHAUST bulkhead. This can cause permanent damage to both the
cooler and the photomultiplier tube.
5. Connect a suitable recording device to the rear panel connector. For
detailed information about connecting to the instrument, refer to:
