By default, the seed switch in the Mobility Domain generates a log
message when a rogue is detected or disappears. To disable or reenable
the log messages, use the following command:
set rfdetect log {enable | disable}
The log messages are generated on and appear in the message buffer of
the seed switch only. You also can view the messages in 3Com Wireless
Switch Manager. (For more information, see the
Manager Reference
To display log messages on the seed switch, use the following command:
display log buffer
(This command has optional parameters. For complete syntax
information, see the
Reference.)
By default, all SNMP traps are disabled. To enable or disable traps for
rogues and countermeasures, use the following commands:
set snmp trap {enable | disable} RFDetectAdhocUserTraps
set snmp trap {enable | disable} RFDetectRogueAPTraps
set snmp trap {enable | disable} RFDetectRogueDisappearTraps
set snmp trap {enable | disable} CounterMeasureStartTraps
set snmp trap {enable | disable} CounterMeasureStopTraps
Enter these commands on the seed switch of the Mobility Domain. The
seed switch sends all rogue detection and countermeasures traps for the
Mobility Domain. (You can enter these commands on a non-seed switch.
However, non-seed switches do not send rogue detection or
countermeasures traps.)
To enable or disable all SNMP traps, including rogue and
countermeasures traps, use the following command:
set snmp trap {enable | disable} all
Manual.)
