To specify the rogue to begin attacking, use the following command:
set rfdetect countermeasures mac mac-addr
The mac-addr is the BSSID of the rogue. The MAC address must be in the
list of rogues generated by RF detection scans. MSS can issue
countermeasures only against a device that is in the rogue list. You can
specify multiple addresses by reentering the command for each address.
After you type the first set rfdetect countermeasures mac command,
MSS does not issue countermeasures against any devices except the ones
you specify using this command. To resume normal countermeasures
operation, where MSS automatically issues countermeasures against
detected rogues, use the clear rfdetect countermeasures mac all
command.
To remove an address from the list configured by the set rfdetect
countermeasures mac command, use the following command:
clear rfdetect countermeasures mac {mac-addr | all}
CAUTION: If this command removes the last rogue from the list created
by set rfdetect countermeasures mac commands, RF detection returns
to the default handling of countermeasures. Consequently, the rogue you
cleared can still be attacked if it is still in the rogue list. To stop
countermeasures against a device, add the device to the known
addresses list using the set rfdetect ignore command. (See "Ignoring
Friendly Third-Party Devices".)
These commands do not become part of the configuration file when you
save the configuration and therefore are not reloaded if the switch is
restarted.
To immediately begin countermeasures against rogue BSSID
aa:bb:cc:11:22:33, type the following command:
WX1200# set rfdetect countermeasures mac aa:bb:cc:11:22:33
success:
set rfdetect countermeasures mac aa:bb:cc:11:22:33
To remove rogue BSSID aa:bb:cc:11:22:33 from the list configured by the
set rfdetect countermeasures mac command, type the following
command:
