To configure a WX switch for connection to a MAP access point, you
must do one of the following:
For a MAP access point directly connected to a WX switch port,
configure the WX switch port as a MAP access port. ("Setting the Port
Type for a Directly Connected MAP" on page 140.)
For a MAP access point indirectly connected to a WX switch through
an intermediate Layer or Layer network, configure a Distributed AP on
the WX switch. ("Configuring an Indirectly Connected MAP" on
page 142.)
Optionally, you also can change other parameters that affect the entire
MAP:
MAP name. (See "Changing MAP Names" on page 144.)
Dual-home bias. (See "Changing Bias" on page 144.)
Load-balancing group. (See "Configuring a Load-Balancing Group"
on page 144.)
Automatic firmware upgrade capability. (See "Disabling or Reenabling
