All copiers manufactured after the Serial Numbers listed below will have the new style Pressure Spring
installed during production.
PRESSURE SPRING – To reduce the wear on the Drum caused by the Pick-
Off Pawls, the tension of the Pressure Springs has been reduced from 5.5 mN
(Brown) to 4.0 mN (Silver). See Figure B below. The following parts updates
are being issued for all A230, A231 and A232 Parts Catalogs. Please update
your Parts Catalogs with the following information.
