All copiers manufactured after the Serial Numbers listed below will have the new style Sponge Seal installed
during production.
SPONGE SEAL – To prevent developer leakage from both ends of the
Development Unit, the thickness of the sponge has been increased from 1 mm
to 2 mm. See Figure A below for placement of the Sponge Seal. The following
parts updates are being issued for all A230, A231 and A232 Parts Catalogs.
Please update your Parts Catalogs with the following information.
