Description of Modification

Conditions:
- Switching on the machine in
cold condition.
- Setting original and pressing
start key during machine warm-
up.
The French message then
appears in the display.

SP2207 displayed a spelling
error.
After modification
Corrected spelling to "Forced".
Corrects the following
•
When SC101 occurs during a
Fax transmission the machine
prints a blank page. The
transmission results are then
reported as normal. The first
page is blank and an SC101
message is displayed.
Countermeasure:
No actual transmission will take
place during memory
transmission.
In the case of immediate
transmission, the transmission
will be interrupted and an error
will be reported.

The Scanner software was also
modified so that the driver in use
displays an error message.
•
When a fusing jam occurs, the
jammed paper may not be
visible to the operator and a
service call may result.
Countermeasure:
The detection of fusing jams has
been modified so that the paper
will stop at a point where the
trailing edge is visible.
Wrong language displayed. When
in French mode the display for a one
bin open cover is in German
