( 3 ) Detaching and refitting the switchback roller, duplex upper registration roller
and refeed roller
Clean or replace the switchback roller, duplex upper registration roller and refeed roller
as follows.

(3-1) Detaching the switchback roller

Procedure
1. Remove the duplex unit from the rails.
2. Remove the two screws and the side registration section right guide.
3. Remove the 6-pin connector from the side registration section and the 3-pin
connector from the side registration home position switch, and unlock the edge.
4. Squeeze the paper tapping guide and take it out of the hole on the rear of the
machine.
5. Remove the four screws holding the side registration section slide it toward the
machine right to detach the section.
6. Remove the two screws and detach the separation assembly.
