( 2 ) Detaching and refitting the drum separation claws

Clean or replace the drum separation claws.
Procedure
1. Open the front cover and remove the image formation unit from the machine. (see
page 3-3-29)
2. Remove the main charger and the drum. (see page 3-3-30, see page 3-3-72)
3. Remove the two screws holding the separation claw mount, and the mount.
* When installing the separation claw mount, fit the separation claw lever to the dent
of the blade attachment plate.

4. Remove the separation claw lever from the separation claw mount.
5. Remove separation claw slide plate from the separation claw shaft.
6. Remove the drum separation claw from the separation claw shaft.

7. Refit all the removed parts.
