A When the print key is pressed, the drive motor (DM) comes on.
B 100 ms after the drive motor (DM) comes on, the bypass solenoid (BYPSOL) comes on,
the bypass stopper is released, and at the same time, the SB forwarding pulley comes
down and presses on the paper set on the bypass tray.
C 300 ms after the bypass solenoid (BYPSOL) comes on, the bypass clutch (BYPCL)
comes on. This transmits the drive from the drive motor to the SB forwarding pulley, the
SB upper paper feed pulley, and the SB lower paper feed pulley and starts the primary
paper feed.
D 152 ms after the registration switch (RSW) is switched on by the leading edge of the
primary feed paper, the bypass solenoid (BYPSOL) and the bypass clutch (BYPCL) go
off, the paper arrives at the stopped upper registration roller and lower registration roller
and the leading edge is aligned. This completes the primary paper feed.
E 172 ms after the bypass clutch (BYPCL) goes off, the bypass clutch (BYPCL) comes on
again and the secondary paper feed starts. Also, 180 ms after the bypass clutch
(BYPCL) goes off, the scanner motor (SM) drives forward and the original exposure
starts.
F 50 ms after the start of secondary paper feed (after the bypass clutch (BYPCL) comes
on), the registration clutch (RCL) comes on.
G 209 ms after the trailing edge of the paper passes the registration switch (RSW) and the
registration switch (RSW) goes off, the registration clutch (RCL) goes off. This
completes the secondary paper feed.
