(11-3) Adjusting the lens position for reduction mode

Procedure
Enter simulation mode.
Enter 25 with the numeric keys.
Press the print key.
Select mode 3 with the exposure
adjustment keys.
Place the NTC on the contact
glass and ensure there is A3/11" ×
17" paper present.
Press the interrupt key.
Press the print key to make a test
copy. (A test copy is made at
50%)
Is the image laterally
longer than the original?
Is the image laterally
shorter than the original?
Press the stop/clear key.
Exit simulation mode.
Start

The current setting is displayed.
Press the print key.
The new setting is stored.
The copier enters ready mode.
Decrease the setting with the zoom
key.
Increase the setting with the zoom
key.
* Setting range: 0~40
Reference: 20
Changing the value by one changes
the number of steps of the lens motor
by one.
* The larger the value, the longer the lat-
eral length of the image: the smaller the
value the shorter the image.
