8. Hook the projection of the key counter cover retainer onto the cutout in the right
cover, and fasten them together to the copier with the two screws.
9. Pass the 4-pin connector of the copier through the cutout in the right cover and fit it
to the 4-pin connector of the key counter.
10. Fit the key counter cover to the key counter cover retainer on the copier, using one
screw.
11. Refit the rear cover.
12. Insert the key counter into the key counter socket.
13. Turn the main switch on and select mode 8 for simulation 94. Check that the setting
of key counter/Key card is 0 (key counter).
14. Exit simulation mode.
15. Check that message requesting the key counter to be inserted is displayed when
the key counter is pulled out.
16. Check that the counter counts up as copies are produced.
