( 5 ) Adjusting longitudinal image squareness (inclination of secondary mirror)

Make the following adjustment when the scanner wire is replaced or if the copy image is
longitudinally skewed (longitudinal squareness is not obtained).
Procedure
Make a test copy with A3/11" ×
17" paper.
Is the copy image
• For copy example 1, loosen the secondary mirror inclination adjustment screw.
• For copy example 2, tighten the secondary mirror inclination adjustment screw.
* Never fail to perform the thread locker of the secondary mirror inclination adjustment
screw after adjustment.
