( 4 ) Adjusting the position of the original size indicator

Perform the following adjustment if there is a regular error between the centers of the
original and the copy image.
Procedure
Enter simulation mode.
Enter 16 with the numeric keys.
Press the print key.
Place A3/11"
contact glass and keep the origi-
nal holder open.
Press the print key to make a test
copy (the magnification ratio is au-
tomatically set to 90%).

Loosen the two screws holding the
original size indicator and adjust
the position of the indicator so that
the centers of the original and the
copy image are aligned.
• When the width of stripe (a) is
wider than that of (b), move it to-
ward the machine rear (a).
• When the width of stripe (a) is
narrower than that of (b), move it
toward the machine front (f).
