( 5 ) Adjusting the position of the width size changing knob

Perform the following adjustment if there is a regular error between the centers of the
original and the copy image on the paper feed from a cassette.
Caution: Before starting this adjustment, ensure ( 4 ) Adjusting the position of the
original size indicator (see page 3-3-15) has been completed.
Procedure
Make a test copy with same size.
Is the center of the
image aligned with that
of the original?

Loosen three screws holding the
width size changing knob and ad-
just the position of the width size

• For example 1, move it toward
the machine front (e).
• For example 2, move it toward
the machine rear (b).
