CYLINDER HEADNALVES
CYLINDER HEAD INSTALLATION
Install the dowel pins and a new gasket.
Install the cylinder head on to the cylinder.

careful not to leI
Apply engine oil to the cylinder head bolt threads and
the washers drop

Inslall the cylinder head bolls with Ihe washers.

Tighten the cylinder head bolts in a crisscross pattern in
two or three steps to the specified torque.

TORQUE : 45 N'm (4.6 kgf-m , 33 1bHt)
Install and tighten Ihe cylinder head 6 mm bolts.
Tigh ten the cylinder bolt.
Install the cylinder head hanger plates and bolts.
Tighten Ihe cylinder head hanger bolts to the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 54 N'm (5.5 kgf'm , 40 Ibf·ft)
Tighten the cylinder head hanger plale bolts to the
specified torque.
TORQUE: 33 N'm (3.4 kgf-m, 24 IbHt)
