Set the water pump shaft and a new mechanical seal.
Set the special tools onlo the mechanical seal and
water pump shaft as shown.

COOLING SYSTEM
Press the mechanical seal until it is fully sealed to the
right crankcase cover using the hydraulic press and
special tool.

Check the mechanical seal for proper installation using

the straight edge and feeler gauge.
Measure the clearance between the installer collars.
STANDARD : 0-0.15 mm (0-0.006 in)
INSTALLATION
The impeller has

left hand threads
shaft.
Tighten it after
installing the right
crankcase cover.
